COMPETITIONS @ ICETCI 2023

Welcome to Competitions @ ICETCI 2023. These competitions powered by NVIDIA will be held in conjunction with International Conference on Emerging Techniques in Computational Intelligence 2023. This great initiative brings creative minds together to build innovative solutions. We invite participation from undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students. Cash prizes of up to Rs. 25,000 will be announced for winners across all the problem statements. The top three teams will also be invited to ICETCI 2023 to present their solutions to leading AI researchers from industry and academia across the world. All the participants will be given a certificate of participation from NVIDIA.

Problem statements release, and registration starts 20 July 2023

Submission deadline (submission of code and a short report explaining the solution) 31 August 2023
Submitted teams are required to present their idea before the review panel (NVIDIA and MU fraternity) 06 - 08 September 2023

Registration Guidelines

  • Registration is free.
  • Participants should decide on their own teams. The allowed team size is 3-5.
  • Interested student teams can register on the provided link.
  • One team can register for more than one problem statement.
  • Further details will be provided through mail/discussion forum after successful registration.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submission of code/implementation details and report is mandatory to be considered for prizes.
  • Further submission guidelines will be communicated through the discussion forum.
  • The reviewer's decision will be final.

Evaluation

  • To be eligible for the prizes, the teams need to submit the code, implementation details as well as a 1-page report explaining the solution.
  • Note: Highest metric (accuracy) is not the only criterion on which the winners will be decided. The teams will be judged based on both quantitative as well as qualitative aspects such as overall performance, innovativeness of the proposed solution as well as new findings if any.
  • The submitted teams are required to present their idea before the review panel (NVIDIA and MU fraternity).
  • The final decision on the winners will be made by the review panel. The top-3 teams will be invited to ICETCI 2023 to present their solutions.
